As a traditional massage of the Polynesian islands, it is suitable for young and old. It stands for transitional phases and new beginnings. Its quality is grounding and supporting. The Lomilomi oil massage ritual involves the whole, completely undressed body, which is covered with protective cloths on a comfortably warm massage table. The massagers include it as a holy place dancing and "flying" artfully around it. Intentionless hands and pleasantly soft forearm surfaces touch the body from toe to head.
